Ristorante Due Fratelli - Il Gusto del Mare in Travemuende

There were five of us here recently. The staff is very friendly and the food is good. We noticed positively that the staff here voluntarily wear masks, although this is not currently mandatory. Unfortunately, this is not the case in many other restaurants in the area. The wait for the food was a bit long. Nevertheless, we can recommend the Due Fratelli.

Excellent restaurant with very good food! The location is great! A mega great view of the water, indescribable. Exceptionally good service, all employees are always friendly, attentive and committed. You feel very comfortable. A top address for very good enjoyment!

Ambience very nice! Tastes good, if we can still do it, the bottom could be a little thicker! Normal price 37.50 € three pizzas and two Sprite!

A very good Italian. We love Italian cuisine and would love to come back. Here you feel like in Italy. The price is a bit higher but it matches the quality.

Super delicious food! 1 * service! We actually visited the restaurant twice as the food was delicious. At the same time all dishes were on the table together. None of us had to wait long for something. We tried pizza, pasta, fish and meat, starters and desserts right across the menu. Our conclusion: absolutely nothing to complain about! The food was sensational in terms of taste, great quality, the dishes freshly and fantastically prepared. The employees deserve special praise. We were there in the high season, all restaurants were packed, tables were completely occupied. Nevertheless, there is no trace of the stress and hectic rush that would be reflected in dealing with guests. Always a relaxed saying and a smile on your face. Super attentive and accommodating. Hats off, not everyone can do that! Keep it up! You are awesome! We'll be back soon!

Is good for a visit with children, as there is a playground right outside the door. Not quite perfect, as half the beer was well below the line and the bottle of water came without carbon dioxide. But beer was refilled. Food, however, was great. The restaurant is priced more expensive, but fair for the food.

We were allowed to enjoy a great wedding dinner with delicious starters, great fish and meat platters, as well as heavenly desserts! The service was thoughtful, quick and accommodating! We felt very comfortable and will definitely be back! Thank you dear Due team!

OK ... portions are very clear. Edit: € 18.50 for 8 ravioli with salmon filling are already an issue for me. Edit 2: Now unfortunately only 1 star instead of 3 because there is no response after a query. Apparently only positive recessions are answered.

A great way to end a sailing trip. Great service, great cuisine (the mixed starter platter is highly recommended), very good wine accompaniment! Nice ambience! We will be back definitely! Many thanks to the team for the great evening :)

I don't give “full marks” so often, this restaurant deserves it! The sole was just great, as was the mushroom ravioli for my wife! The employees also give “everything”! When we are in Travemünde we only eat here! ?

Very nice service and the companions tasted it very good. Two points deduction, because unfortunately there were no vegan dishes (although it is an Italian restaurant). Unfortunately, pizza and pasta dough are made with egg, which unfortunately happens every now and then in Italian restaurants in Germany. According to the waiter, you could have called two days in advance and they would have prepared extra vegan batter. Nice service in itself. Perhaps one could inform on the online menu that the dough contains eggs and vegan dishes are possible if pre-ordered. It would of course be even better if there was a vegan option on the menu. I was pleased that a vegan risotto could still be prepared. Unfortunately the risotto was a little too salty. However, since I was very hungry, I ate it anyway and a drink helped get rid of the salty taste.

We had a wonderful last day of vacation, thanks to the kitchen for the delicious sole ???, thanks to the service ???! We can recommend this restaurant without reservation! We will be back definitely! I had the spaghetti Aglio e Olio, which I liked very much. The waitresses were all very friendly. With two grappas for € 9.80 on the bill, I swallowed first, but afterwards we got two more on the house. Otherwise, however, local prices in Travemünde. Overall, I really liked it.

The best restaurant in all of Travemünde. Also the only one where fresh ingredients are processed and where the food always tastes reliably. In addition to the fantastic food, the service is super friendly and fun, leaving nothing to be desired. I can recommend it to everyone as a little break.

The food was very tasty. Although it was already very late, we were allowed to order something that was not the case at other restaurants in Travemünde. The food came very quickly and extra requests were taken into account, and the price was even reduced. Aside from the food, the waiters were very friendly, helpful and funny, and made it a very enjoyable evening. Definitely worth a visit! :)

Went here for dinner on the occasion of a family celebration. The table was very nicely decorated and set. The service was good, friendly and competent. The appetizer platters suggested and served were plentiful and tasty. Unfortunately, it didn't work out so well with the main courses ordered individually. The steaks were complained about and freshly prepared, the sea bream only came when everyone had finished eating (12 people). Overall, a nice evening in a nice restaurant with a great view of the water and ships with small flaws in the coordination between service and kitchen

We were very unfortunate when visiting this place on 12 august 2020 Because: 1) It took us a while to get a seat (2 adults with a 22months boy. And the seat doesn't fit our criteria. We were seated at 2 seaters table without baby chair which my husband had to get it himself. 2) We did not get the menu after half and hour we got seated. Instead the waiter/waitresses not attaintive enough to realize we do not get our menu yet and still trying to deliver us drinks which we did not order. The same person who tried to deliver the order still ignoring us and chit chat with the customer next to us. Instead of being more attentive towards us who has been seated more than 30 minutes without menu with crying child. It would be great help if they could just be more attentive. 3) The only attentive person was the person who sat next to us and lend us their menu so we can go through. 4) it took us 45 minutes for the waitress to come to our table, even that only after I called her that I wanted to order and what her replied was " it was chaos back there and we were busy" it was dinner time and logically yes it is busy everywhere. We arrived there at 9pm and you can do the math. 5) Luckily the food was fast enough to reached us. Well after 1 hour of every bad experience. The taste was just....ok. We ordered Salami Pizza and Pasta fruit de Mare. We wanted to order dessert but with this kind of bad service we decided not to pursue our intention. We were here because of the good review from google. This was our first and last time here. I wonder how they can get such a good review. The conclusion we had from our bad experience was they are not friendly in general and not child friendly because they totally ignore our table. The food was not that great that we should come back ever again.

After we changed the table and the responsible waiter, the service was great. Very attentive and made sure that the guests feel comfortable. The seats at the top of the window are great, the view is very nice. The food was delicious!

Super delicious, thin pizza! Even the greeting from the kitchen suggested that the food would be very good! Rarely seen such nice and child-friendly waitresses. Unfortunately it was the last day of vacation, but I have already recommended you!

The waiters were very personable, we really laughed a lot. They responded to every request and were very friendly. The food was immaculate! Our daughter even got home-made ice cream, which is highly recommended! ? We all drove home satisfied and satisfied.

Really good Italian food as it should be! Great service even though they are quite busy. Table reservations is definitely recommended.
